Jacob Auctions Ltd. was founded in 1979 by Douglas Jacob. Today, Doug's son David manages the company. Jacob Auctions Ltd. is your all-in-one choice for liquidating your assets. We offer full service live auctions at your place or at our auction facility in Mitchell, Ontario. Jacob Auctions Ltd. specializes in Farm Equipment, Agricultural and Residential Real Estate, Antiques, and Household auction sales. Our Services
Along with Auctions and Appraisals, we also go the extra mile to ensure that your experience dealing with Jacob Auctions Ltd. is all that it can be. We can provide transport services to get your items to our facility, using our modern fleet of equipment. We use our 40 years in the auction industry to best promote your auction and the sale of your items using a variety of marketing tools. We provide a full staff of knowledgeable, caring, and courteous individuals. We can also offer sale setup if you are running short of help before your onsite auction. Auctions
We conduct all types of auctions throughout the course of a year. We hold a Spring and Fall Farm Equipment Consignment Auction at our yards in Mitchell, Ontario annually. We have Estate, Antique, Collectable, and Household Auctions every 2-3 weeks at our auction facility. We also conduct onsite Farm and Real Estate Auctions as needed. Appraisals
David and Doug Jacob are both members in good standing of the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group in the Province of Ontario. Whether it be a Probate Appraisal to settle out an Estate, a Fair Market Value Appraisal, or a Divorce Appraisal, we have the knowledge to assist you and provide the report that you are looking for.
Owner and Auctioneer Dave Jacob
David grew up in the auction business. Ever since he was able to crawl into the truck with his dad on his own, he was going to auction sales. He knew that that was what he wanted to do when he grew up. In 2011, it came time for Dave to make a career decision. He was gainfully employed, but wanted to be more involved in the auction business and so he left his employer and joined his dad in the auction business and Jacob Auctions Ltd. was founded. He has never looked back. Dave now calls over 150 different auctions every year. Beyond his own auctions, he also contract auctioneers automobile, farm, and horse sales. Dave likes to stay involved in his community and is the auctioneer at many charity events throughout the year. He has served the Auctioneers Association of Ontario for over a decade serving in all seats including a term as President. He is currently serving as a Regional Director. Dave is also, currently sitting on the board of directors for McKillop Mutual Insurance in Seaforth, Ontario.
